The Brief
The University of Surrey wanted to create a CD-ROM that had a strong impact and helped them to stand out from the crowd in its recruitment of new undergraduates.
The aim of the project was to:

- Provide clear and concise, easy-to-use information

Solution
'University of Success' was an interactive prospectus, produced by Ubiquity Communications for the University of Surrey, designed specifically to appeal to a young audience. The CD-ROM combined a fresh, contemporary design with informative and engaging content, such as student profiles, video interviews and an insider's guide to university life.
 
As well as promoting the variety of degree programmes, high quality teaching and academic achievement available at the University, the interactive prospectus also provided a snapshot of University life and the lifestyle opportunities, skills and career prospects that Surrey affords.
Built using Flash and Director, the rich information and content (video, audio, music, illustration, animation, text, photography) was designed to be easily accessible and clearly presented, encouraging interactivity and exploration.
Ubiquity's interactive team worked closely with the University to make sure that the interactive prospectus worked for their target audience to maximise their return on investment.
